All you need to know for your first visit:
Casual Atmosphere
When you visit Ventura Community, dress casually and comfortably! You'll feel right at home in a pair of jeans or shorts. We're more concerned with you personally than with what you wear.

Free Food
So you don't have time to eat before church? No problem! Check out our free spread, which includes coffee, donuts, juice and other goodies. You can count on Ventura Community to feed you, body and soul!

Friendly People
We strive to create a friendly, comfortable environment. We WON’T make you wear a visitor badge, stand up and introduce yourself, or stand out in any way. We want you to check us out without being singled out.

Family Environment
We have programs for kids including a clean and safe nursery for birth through 2 years.  We also understand that you might want to keep your baby with you for the first few visits and that’s alright. All we ask is that you sit toward the back just in case you need to take your infant outside so it doesn’t disturb others.

Relevant To Your Life
Our goal is for each service to be fun, creative, worshipful and relevant to your life. Our services begin with rockin', upbeat music from a band, followed by a biblical, relevant and at times humorous message by Pastor Carl. We'll even give you a handy outline with the Bible passages, so you will go home encouraged and equipped each week!

A Place For Your Kids
Your children will take part in a fun-filled age-appropriate service designed just for them. Our goal is that you and your kids will enjoy Ventura Community Church.
